An offering for those of us in deep processes of self love. I made a rose facial toner months ago when the mask-ne started getting out of hand. Since then I’ve added comfrey and chamomile for additional skin and spiritual healing properties.
ROSE Rose flowers have anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and antioxidant properties, which is partially why they’re used in so many skin products. Great for protecting and calming the skin. Rose also raises our vibrations (it’s the highest vibrating plant) and asks us to rise above the bs and love ourselves through it all.
COMFREY Comfrey is an all around healer. Called “knitbone” for its ability to help heal broken bones. It’s highly regenerative and helps bring bone, skin and cells back together. Spiritually, comfrey asks us to integrate and love the fragmented parts of ourselves. Comfrey used in this formula was wildcrafted by me.
CHAMOMILE Chamomile’s Latin name “matricaria” speaks to the maternal nature of this plant. Chamomile is known to be soothing and calming to skin while also providing anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial protection. Spiritually, chamomile helps us mother ourselves and soothe the young parts of us.
All of these herbs have cooling properties, great for soothing and helping heal acne and blemishes. In combination with the antiviral and cleansing properties of the witch hazel, this toner adds efficacy and love to a skin regimen.
